Planeswalkers! Arm for bear and bring your best to our Saturday Competitive Commander (cEDH) pods!
We’ll be launching pods of four all day as players sign up, from open to roughly an hour and a half before close. Be aware that these are intended for higher-power decks, but fear not, these pods are FULL PROXY FRIENDLY (just make sure your playtest cards are VERY legible and recognizable as the card they’re representing).
Entry: $7
Structure: 4-player pods, 60 minute single games
Prizing: Each player puts two packs (from standard legal sets, either Set or Play packs) into the prize pool. Everyone will walk away with at least one pack. Players that get knocked out will have their second pack claimed by the person who eliminated them from the game. When players are eliminated, the pod should call for a judge so we can notate where the prizing is going + prize out the eliminated player.
For example, if one player wins the pod all at once (likely), the winner will receive 5 packs in prize support, and the three runner ups will receive 1. On a final Saturday in a month, this scenario would have the winner receiving 9 packs and the runner ups receiving 1 pack.
